The International Association of Lions club in recognization of providing Non-surgical cardiac treatment across TamilNadu by Dr.S.Ramasamy a Non-Invasive cardiology expert and director of Heal your Heart awarded him Best achiever award.
Dr.S.Ramasamy is a pioneer in India to start Non-surgical Enhanced External Counter Pulsation treatment ( EECP). Currently, this treatment has been recognized by the TamilNadu Government and covered under its flagship state-sponsored scheme "Chief Ministre Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme." Dr.S.Ramasamy through a Public-Private Partnership program has provided the treatment to below poverty patients in 12 Government medical college hospital. So far, 5000 patients are successfully treated and fully covered by insurance.
The award was presented by Hon'ble Justice Thiru. R. Subramanian on 21st July 2019 in Chennai. The meeting was attended by chief guest Mrs. Vanitha IPS, Inspector of General of Police ( Railways).
