Vellore EECP treatment is a continuous treatment that stretches to 35 hours. This period is broken into every day one-hour periods spread over six days a week. Treatment is a painless and comfortable procedure. EECP treatment procedure involves no Hospitalization or risks. In some instances, as per the physician's advice, it can be taken twice daily with an interval of 2-3 hours and be completed in three weeks. You are advised to take the treatment without frequent interruptions. Missed treatments are usually made up, so you receive all 35 sessions. Usually, patients can watch TV or listen to music during the treatment sessions. During the EECP treatment, the procedure is not abnormal to feel tired after the first few sessions, but this will pass as the sessions progress. Each patient responds differently. Most patients begin to feel improvement after about 15-20 sessions.

EECP THERAPY uses a proprietary technology to inflate and deflate a series of pneumatic cuffs enclosing the lower extremities of the patients. Treatment is administered on a padded table in which three sets of electronically controlled inflation and deflation valves are located.
