The awareness about Vaso-Meditech Enhanced External CounterPulsation (EECP) meeting was conducted in Chennai. The meeting was attended by all employees and the management group of Tamilnadu Government and central government employees. Dr.S.Ramasamy Non-Invasive Cardiology & EECP consultant spoke in the meeting about cardiac risk factors , prevention strategy and the treatment modality available for the cardiac patients.
EECP THERAPY uses a proprietary technology to inflate and deflate a series of pneumatic cuffs enclosing the lower extremities of the patients. Treatment is administered on a padded table in which three sets of electronically controlled inflation and deflation valves are located.
