amilNadu Government initiated Non-Invasive, outpatient and clinically proven Enhanced External Counter Pulsation treatment in Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital (RGGGH). The treatment will be provided in the cardiology department. Vaso-Meditech Pvt Ltd will provide Vaso-Meditech EECP systems and will also employ clinically trained Physicians and therapist to provide the EECP treatment. The needy cardiac patient will be ref from the cardiology department after proper screening. The treatment will be provided in CM 500 ward and will be covered by the Chief Minister Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme.
EECP THERAPY uses a proprietary technology to inflate and deflate a series of pneumatic cuffs enclosing the lower extremities of the patients. Treatment is administered on a padded table in which three sets of electronically controlled inflation and deflation valves are located.
