In a World Congress of Cardiology Dubai, 18-21 April 2012 EECP got a special attention in a lecture done by eminent Indian American heart surgeon Dr. Mukesh Hariawala based in Harvard Medical School. Presiding over as Chairman of the cardiac surgery session he mentioned Novel cellar therapies in future will make cardiac treatment affordable. Dr Hariawala optimistically cautioned that there was still a large subset of patients who clinically and diagnostically are unlikely to benefit by CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting) or Angioplasty/Stent procedures
